Treat your jewelry with love and follow these tips:

  • Do not wear jewelry while cleaning, exercising, sleeping or swimming. You can take a shower with your jewelry but beware with your towel because your jewelry can continue to crochet behind your towel and therefore break down.
  • Avoid body lotion and perfume. Of course you can use body lotion and perfume, but not spray your favorite perfume directly on your jewel but on your skin. Parfum in particular can cause stains on your jewelry!
  • Keep your jewelry in a dry dark place. For example, keep your jewelry in a jewelry box.
  • If you do not wear your jewelry, it is wise to keep it closed with the closure so that they are less confused.

Remark: Although you can shower well with Stainless Steel Steel Uniekje to go swimming or with your jewelry! Often there is chlorine in a swimming pool and unfortunately chlorine can affect your jewelry so that it can still discolour/rust. So don't do it! Your jewelry will be grateful :)

"Sometimes Things Happen for a Reason"

I am Marjolein, 31 years old and I am the owner of Uniekje. I live with my husband Stefan and my 5 year old son Luca. If you say creative, you say: Marjolein.

I love being busy with my hands. In 2012 I fell ill and finally got after a long search, the diagnosis of fibromyalgia (pain in muscles).

I came to sit at home sick and I was looking for a hobby in this dark period in my life. I have painted and learned T-shirts to deal with a sewing machine. But you guessed it, I also started making jewelry. I liked this so much and I started to delve into techniques and materials more and more. After my rehabilitation I decided that this is what I want; Start your own jewelry webshop.

Precisely because I received fibromyalgia, I put on the bad shoes and started my own company. If I had never received fibromyalgia, I would certainly never have started my own company for 99% and I would never have ended up on this path that I am very grateful for!

Who are we?

We make personal jewelry with personal attention so that you can always carry your loved ones and/or a dear moment to you. In addition, we also have a beautiful collection with Stainless Steel Jewelry to make your look complete.

I (Marjolein) have Uniekje Founded in 2018. We now consist of a (family) team of 4 people. Together with my mother -in -law Anke, her sister Karin and Esmee we make all your jewelry with love and attention.
We are located in Enschede in the beautiful Spinnerij Oosterveld building. If you are enormously curious about our studio and you live in the area, you can pick up your webshop order from us!
